Like all charities we have to raise funds to ensure that our services are maintained at the highest standard for our clients. We are partially funded by Kent County Council Social Services but the money they provide only covers 60% of our running costs.
We are a member of the Age Concern Federation but do not receive any funding from them or Age Concern England towards the running costs of Everist Court.
Our clients do pay for some of the services we provide but we try to keep their charges to a minimum amount
Over the years we have devised many ways of raising funds such as, quiz nights, collecting tins and 100+ Club. We also operate a ‘Friends’ club in which members give us a monthly or annual donation.
Legacies to Age Concern Lyminge also play an important part in our fundraising. Many families appreciate the care we have given their relatives and a legacy reflects that appreciation.
